These are quite expensive, so you may be better off with case by case support. It means, if something does not work in Logic, they assist. If it's an issue with a 3rd party plug, for example, they can tell you as much, but Apple support will not troubleshoot 3rd party products.

The quality of Apple's support for Logic is excellent, as it is for all other products Hmmm I stand corrected then! The vast majority of issues can be resolved by basic troubleshooting , so a call to support should only be necessary in the rarest cases I agree. I just have such odd problems with pro tools that I like the concept of a security blanket, or a support team being able to link it back to a sketchy plugin when I can't figure it out.

A large amount of issues are caused by bugs, and the way to solve the problem is to fix the bugs. I switched to Logic Pro X about four months ago.

I have not needed much because I have been pretty thorough with the manual and a couple of web sites I used to subscribe to Lynda and Groove3. Also, someone put up about 70 instructional videos, techhelp guy, I think. Anyway, between all of this and the forums I really have not been frustrated or without answers yet.
